This Program functions as a support program for the implementation of Health and Education initiatives. Volunteers are identified by NCHD through meetings at Union Council and District levels with the stakeholders and are given training in the implementation of program activities. Each district has registered volunteers providing support in monitoring, trainings, advocacy and resource mobilization.
Volunteers help NCHD in data collection of out of school children, enrollment of children, retention of children in the schools, organizing parent teacher associations and raising funds for support like space for feeder schools, installation of hand pumps, construction of toilets etc in its Universal Primary Education Program.
In the Adult Literacy Program of NCHD the volunteers help in identification of learners and teachers from the local area, provision of space and payment of utilities.
